Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer 

Jim Cleary is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Cencora, Inc. As a member of the executive management committee, Jim is committed to maximizing long-term shareholder value, driving profitability of growth initiatives, and maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency. He oversees the company’s financial strategy and functions including accounting, corporate finance, investor relations, tax, treasury, and audit. Additionally, Jim manages Cencora’s IT function and shared services.

Jim joined the company in 2015 when Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) acquired MWI Veterinary Supply Inc. where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to being named Chief Financial Officer for Cencora in 2018, he was Group President of Global Commercialization Services and Animal Health. In that role, Jim led pharmaceutical commercialization solutions for manufacturers including the company’s international businesses and animal health portfolio.

As an Executive Sponsor of the Global ESG Impact Council at Cencora, Jim is a passionate advocate and champion for the company’s environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) strategy and its integration across the business. 
 
He graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
