We strengthen the supply chain by connecting healthcare providers with small and diverse businesses.

Improving our communities by supporting small and diverse businesses

Through our supplier diversity program, we’ve been able to connect with more than 1,500 companies that are certified as small business enterprises, small businesses in underutilized areas, and companies where the ownership is mostly:

  • Minorities
  • Women
  • People with disabilities
  • Veterans
  • LGBTQ+

Diverse suppliers enable us to source the highest quality products and services at the most competitive prices

But to us, it's much more than that. Our commitment to supplier diversity comes straight from the top of our organization, and its integrated throughout all of our applicable businesses.

Through our growing program, were able to directly support companies that are addressing the unique needs of underserved communities and fuel innovation where it's needed most. Moreover, these diverse businesses are often the ones employing individuals in underserved communities, which makes having a supplier diversity program essential to creating healthier futures. The more we support diverse businesses, the more jobs that are added to those communities and the more we're able to do our part as a responsible corporate citizen.

With extensive global connections throughout the healthcare industry, we’re proud to help connect our customers with our growing group of diverse suppliers in communities everywhere and bring their products to a bigger audience.

More importantly, our customers and stakeholders are excited to support them, which is why we enable search filtering by diverse supplier in our ordering platform and clearly indicate those companies as such, as well as in our catalogs and other marketing materials. That way, anyone interested in buying from diverse suppliers can find them quickly and easily.

Plus, with the launch of Marketplace, our latest ordering platform innovation, pharmacies are now able to shop a wider variety of front-end goods from diverse suppliers in one trusted environment.
